The Health Voyage recruitment and selection process consists of:

  • Identifying a vacancy
  • Advertising
  • Acknowledging receipt of every application submitted via our Careers Portal
  • Shortlisting applicants
  • Inviting suitable shortlisted applicants to interview
  • Identifying the preferred applicant
  • Credentialing and checking employment references
  • Conducting a criminal record check (compulsory) and verification of working with children check (compulsory)
  • Offer of employment to the successful applicant
  • Responding in writing to every unsuccessful candidate

A NSW Working with Children Check (employed) and a National Police Check are mandatory requirements for all Health Voyage employees.

In most cases, a Health Voyage contact person will be listed in the ad who will be able to answer any enquiries candidates may have before applying.

When applying for a current position vacant via our Careers Portal, please ensure that you upload your current resume, and a separate document demonstrating how you meet each of the Selection Criteria points on the Position Description.  The Selection Committee will rank and rate each application received depending on how well each candidate can demonstrate how they meet the selection criteria, so it is important to address this in your application.
