Are you looking for something to improve how you feel on a daily basis? Do you get the sense that there is more to yoga than a physical practice? Do you have a yearning to make lasting changes for improved health and happiness?
Yoga for Wellness is a comprehensive seven week course for developing practical skills and healthy habits that cultivate and enhance wellbeing and contentment. Learn to embody the wisdom of yoga and mindfulness by bringing it into your daily life. This course will support you to establish and sustain regular practices and attitudes that fit realistically with your lifestyle. Learn to engage yoga as a way of life. Each problem, task, interaction, each and every moment is an opportunity to embrace the fullness of life.
A variety practices, attitudes and approaches are introduced over the course that you can try, get feedback on and adapt to suit you. By the end of the program, you will have developed your own unique daily practice and also have a toolkit of wellbeing enhancing skills and attitudes to draw upon in times of need.
Each week is centered around a theme and offers both theory and practice. This may include postures, breathing, meditation or yogic lifestyle practices. The themes are:
