Berry Jones – Finalist for the International Women’s Day Coffs Coast Woman of the Year Award

On Friday 6th March, Health Voyage Board Members and team members from Health Voyage corporate, headspace Coffs Harbour, and Coffs harbour Women’s Health Centre, and Coffs Harbour Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic attended the Coffs Coast International Women’s Health Day Breakfast. This breakfast is held annually and includes the IWD Coffs Coast Woman of the Year Award. This year, Nurse Berry Jones was a finalist for the International Women’s of the Year Award, proudly representing the Coffs Harbour Women’s Health Centre. Berry was nominated in recognition of her remarkable 35 years of dedicated service to girls and women in our region, including her ongoing work supporting education, sexual health, outreach services and Pete’s Place. Her commitment, compassion, and advocacy have made a lasting difference to the lives of countless women in our community.

We are incredibly proud of Berry and this well-deserved recognition of her work. While the award ultimately went to another nominee, Berry is truly a winner in our eyes. Her dedication and passion for supporting women continue to inspire those around her every day. Congratulations, Berry!
