On Saturday 7th March, Coffs Harbour Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic held an Education Day in Grafton, providing women from across the Northern Rivers with the opportunity to learn more about the program and the supports available.
Heidi Mortimer, EPP Program Manager was a fabulous MC (and speaker) along with Dr Jo Walker, Nurse Berry Jones and Faye Levine our EPP Dietitian.
The day focused on sharing information about endometriosis and pelvic pain, explaining how women can access the EPP program, and providing attendees with helpful information and resources. It was a wonderful opportunity to create a welcoming and supportive space where women could gain knowledge, ask questions, and learn about the pathways available for care and support.
The event received very positive feedback from all 20 attendees, who valued both the information shared and the opportunity to connect with others in the community. All the presentations were very well received, with each one of them bringing valuable expertise and practical insights to the day.
The Coffs Harbour Women’s Health Centre would like to sincerely thank Aunty Fran Williams for the lovely Welcome to Country, and the headspace Grafton team for generously sharing their space and assisting with the event. Their support and hospitality helped ensure the day ran smoothly and contributed greatly to its success.
The Coffs harbour EPP Clinic is funded by Healthy North Coast through the North Coast PHN program and operated by Health Voyage.
