headspace Coffs Harbour 2026 School Holiday Activities!

headspace Coffs Harbour Community Engagement team had a busy January, running three school holiday events!

headspace Coffs Harbour partnered with Yarrila Place and Coffs Harbour Libraries to host a gaming night in their young adult space on the 22nd of January in the early evening.

So much fun was had by everyone who attended! New social connections were made all while playing games on the library’s PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. We also went a little old school with a Super Nintendo.

A special thanks to headspace Coffs Harbour’s Young Leaders’ Council member, Jess, who kindly brought in the console for everyone to use. Young people also enjoyed some off-screen time with a variety of board games — Throw Throw Burrito was a favourite!

After our night in, headspace followed up with two glorious, sunny and hot days at the Big Banana water park on the 28th and 30th of January. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for young people to enjoy the water slides. There were smiles all around, and the young people who attended were very grateful for the opportunity.

This was made possible thorough funding from the NSW Government Office for Youth. headspace Coffs Harbour is funded by Healthy North Coast through the North Coast PHN program and operated by Health Voyage.
