In early March, Heather and Don from the headspace Grafton team started attending Acmea Youth Justice Centre to deliver the RAGE program (Renavigating Anger and Guilty Emotions). The RAGE program runs for 6 weeks with weekly attendance to Acmena.Â
headspace Grafton started this delivery and partnership in 2025, with continual 6 weeks sessions to flow on – and there is no slowing down in their partnership!
Don and Heather, and the headspace Grafton team, have built strong, reliable connections with both staff and young inmates. Their aim is to educate on alternative strategies, coping mechanisms and psychoeducation for anger management. Heather and Don take a lot of pride and honour in the work they do with these young boys, and look forward to attending each week! Their work helps to improve the mindset and prosperity for re-integration into the community, and hope for future endeavours where anger can be better managed and regulated.Â
