On Wednesaday 18th of February, Janene from Health Voyage attended GambleAware Mid and Northern NSW and Lifeline’s Care & Connection Day, held in Nambucca Heads.
This event was a beautiful reminder of what community spirit looks like in action. From the moment people arrived, there was a genuine sense of warmth, welcome and togetherness that carried through the entire event.
Visitors shared a free BBQ lunch, took part in activities, chatted with local services, and discovered new pathways for support. It was inspiring to see so many people connecting with one another, learning about what’s available in the region, and strengthening the ties that make our community resilient.
Health Voyage was grateful to be a part of the day, to hold important conversations and showcase the services we provide.
And if you couldn’t make it this time, there’s good news — it is being held again! Plans are underway for the next Care & Connection Day.
