We’re here for you.
headspace Grafton provides free, confidential, and youth-friendly support for young people aged 12–25 across the entire Clarence Valley. We listen, understand, and tailor support to your needs. Our core services are here to support your whole self, and our mission is to help you build the tools and skills you need to thrive right now.
Let’s catch the small stuff, so it never becomes the big stuff.
We take a holistic approach to wellbeing, meaning we look at the “whole you,” not just one part. Our team of qualified professionals can help with:
1. Mental Health Support
- Just not feeling yourself, or if you’ve noticed changes in your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
- Experiencing relationship problems or difficulty with your family and friends.
- Wanting to talk about sexuality or gender identity.
- First Nations workers available who support healing through culture.
- Peer support to help navigate your headspace journey.
2. Work and Study
- Ready to find employment and not sure where to start?
- Investigate your dream job and the training you need to get it.
- Need support for your studies, resumes, and cover letters.
- Award-Winning Program: We are leaders in supporting young people to achieve their vocational goals.
3. Physical & Sexual Health
- We will link you with a GP for physical, sexual health, or substance use concerns.
- Get confidential advice on healthy eating, exercise, and general wellbeing.
4. Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD)
- Alcohol and other drugs can affect things that matter to you, like your mental health, wellbeing, or friendships. If this is a concern for you, we can support you to get things back on track.
What you can expect when you come:
Appointments are easy to make, and our professional clinicians provide a free, confidential service. You’ll find a comfortable, private waiting area where you can feel at ease and get a free slushi or make a drink of your choice.
Our Peer Support Worker can also be available to help you settle in and navigate your headspace journey.
Our appointments are driven by you. Often, we have appointments available on the day, so drop in or call when it feels right for you.
Inclusion: We welcome people of all ethnicities, lifestyle choices, faiths, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
We have groups including weaving, art therapy, graffiti and cooking club. There are many ways we can support.
Our Commitment to Community
headspace Grafton has been a Health Voyage service since it opened in December 2017. We are proud to be a local, not-for-profit hub that puts youth participation at the heart of everything we do. Our active Youth Reference Group (YRG) ensures our services are designed by young people, for young people.
We proudly work across Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, and Yaegl countries, acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of this land and providing culturally safe spaces for First Nations young people to heal through culture.
