On Tuesday 13th of October, Cherie and Jen from Coffs Harbour Women’s Health Centre Beachside Radiology for a relaxed breakfast, coffee, and meaningful conversations with local healthcare professionals, all while helping to raise awareness about breast health and the importance of early detection.
The morning provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in the health sector, share information, and highlight the vital role that awareness and regular screening play in supporting positive health outcomes for our community.
As we recognise Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s a timely reminder that being proactive about your breast health can make a real difference. Taking the time to become familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel, performing regular self-checks, and attending recommended screening appointments are important steps in maintaining your wellbeing.
A big thank you to Beachside Radiology for bringing local services together and creating space for conversation, education, and community connection.
💗 Gentle reminder: Check your breasts regularly and don’t ignore any changes. Early detection saves lives.
