headspace Coffs Harbour Goes Blue for Do It For Dolly Day 💙
Standing together to end bullying through kindness, awareness, and action
headspace Coffs Harbour proudly went blue in support of Do It For Dolly Day, joining communities across Australia to take a stand against bullying and spread a message of kindness and connection.
Now in its eighth year, Do It For Dolly Day is held annually in memory of Dolly Everett, who was just 14 years old when she tragically lost her life in 2018 after experiencing ongoing bullying and cyberbullying. Her story continues to inspire a national movement aimed at raising awareness and encouraging positive change.
This year, although the official date is May 8, 2026, the headspace Coffs Harbour team chose to show support early, creating opportunities to start conversations sooner and encourage action within our community.
Going Blue to End Bullying
Wearing blue has become a powerful symbol of solidarity, reminding us all of the importance of standing up to bullying and supporting those who may be struggling. At headspace Coffs Harbour, we embraced this message wholeheartedly, encouraging staff and the wider community to get involved and help drive awareness.
We are also proud to support Dolly’s Dream through fundraising efforts. If you would like to contribute and be part of this important cause, you can donate here.

Spreading Kindness in Simple Ways
As part of the day, we introduced a “Little Acts of Kindness” initiative within our team. Staff were invited to write thoughtful messages to one another, highlighting appreciation and recognising the ways their colleagues show kindness and support.
These messages were shared alongside small chocolate treats. These simple gestures that went a long way in creating a positive and connected environment, reminding the team that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.
Together We Are Stronger
At the heart of Do It For Dolly Day is a message that resonates deeply with our work at headspace—no one should face bullying alone, and everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported.
By coming together, starting conversations, and showing kindness, we can help create a culture where bullying is no longer accepted and where young people feel empowered to speak up and seek help.
Let’s continue to support one another and stand united in the fight to end bullying.
