One of the standout moments from our recent Women’s Health Week Breakfast was the opportunity to watch talented Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti and Wiradjuri artist Karly create a beautiful artwork live throughout the event.
As guests enjoyed breakfast and connected with one another, Karly’s artwork gradually came to life, reflecting the themes of connection, strength and community that sit at the heart of Women’s Health Week. Watching the creative process unfold in real time was a special experience, with many attendees stopping to admire the piece and chat about its meaning and inspiration.
The artwork became a wonderful focal point for the morning, sparking conversations and bringing people together while celebrating the importance of creativity, culture and wellbeing. It was a powerful reminder of the incredible talent within our local community and the unique ways art can inspire connection and storytelling.
A heartfelt thank you to Karly for sharing her creativity and contributing such a memorable element to the event. Her stunning artwork was a highlight of the morning and added something truly special to our Women’s Health Week celebrations.
