On Saturday, 10 October, the Grafton Library Cosplay Event brought together more than 50 community members for a vibrant and inclusive day of creativity, fun and connection.
Representing headspace Grafton, Aimee and Claudia were delighted to be part of the festivities, running a popular photo booth that provided attendees with the opportunity to capture memories from the day while learning more about the supports available through headspace. The photo booth quickly became a favourite attraction, with participants embracing the chance to showcase their impressive costumes and personalities.
The event was exceptionally well organised and created a welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds could come together to celebrate shared interests, express their creativity and connect with others in the community.
headspace Grafton is proud to have been involved in such a successful community initiative and would like to thank Grafton Library for hosting this fantastic event. Opportunities like these highlight the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people and the broader community can engage, build connections and have fun.
We look forward to supporting more community events that encourage wellbeing, belonging and positive social connection throughout the region.
headspace Grafton is delivered locally by Health Voyage and is part of the national headspace network. headspace Grafton is funded by Healthy North Coast through the North Coast PHN Program.
