On Wednesday 7 October, Jenni and Janaia and other Mental Health Service staff came together for a lunchtime walk to acknowledge Mental Health Month 2026. The walk provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues across different services, enjoy some fresh air, and take a break from our busy schedules.
It was also a valuable reminder of the importance of prioritising self-care and taking time to look after our own mental health and wellbeing. As part of the activity, we enjoyed a beautiful guided meditation. The meditation offered a peaceful moment to pause, unwind and reconnect with ourselves, leaving us feeling grounded and relaxed.
It was a lovely opportunity to strengthen connections, share a moment of mindfulness, and reflect on the importance of caring for ourselves as well as others.
